Sarah Marsh
Pelvic Health and Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
Sarah is a specialist Pelvic Health and Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist with over 18 years’ experience across the NHS and private practice. She combines her clinical physiotherapy expertise with training in yoga therapy to provide individualised, evidence-informed care.
Sarah works with women through all stages of life, from pre- and post-natal care through to menopause and beyond. She treats pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel problems, incontinence and pelvic pain, and provides Mummy MOT assessments, C-section scar massage and visceral release.
A member of the British Menopause Society, Sarah has a particular interest in supporting women through and beyond menopause. She is passionate about helping women adapt to the physical changes that occur, whilst building strength, resilience and confidence to stay active.
Sarah also specialises in cancer rehabilitation, working with men and women before, during and after cancer treatment. Her experience includes pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, scar management and managing the physical effects of surgery and side effects of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and medication. She helps patients regain strength and function and return safely to exercise and the activities that matter to them.
Sarah may also incorporate therapeutic yoga techniques into her physiotherapy practice, including movement, breathing and relaxation.
Sarah believes physiotherapy should be about more than simply treating symptoms. She works with her patients to understand what matters to them and to help them build the confidence and physical capacity to keep doing the things they enjoy.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys walking her dogs, paddleboarding and spending time with family and friends.
