Joe Coakley
Chartered Physiotherapist
Joe graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 with Class 1 honours in BSc Physiotherapy.
He has 15 years of working in private practice and professional sport.
His experience includes working with Team GB across World and European Championships within British Canoeing , supporting a professional boxer through two World Championship fights and extensive work in rugby as 1st XV physio for Rosslyn Park FC.
Over the last 3 years Joe has further enhanced his skillset in his role as Performance Coach to a driver in a Formula 1 team Driver Academy. Looking at developing physical performance and creating an optimal environment for an athlete to develop and succeed.
Joe is able to apply the principles from his experience in elite sport to all his patients in private practice, optimising recovery and helping people achieve their recovery/rehab goals.

rugby, boxing and other contact sports injuries, race car drivers, canoe, upper and lower limb, adolescent sports injuries
