Laura Taurasi
Chartered Physiotherapist
Laura Taurasi is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist and an active member of the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, and has since built extensive experience working in private practice across Italy, Ireland and England, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries.
Laura has completed a two-year postgraduate training in Manual Therapy (Maitland Concept) and is a qualified level one Mat Pilates instructor. She is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (Level 4) and is trained in dry needling. Her strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development ensures her practice remains evidence-based and up to date.
Her clinical interests focus on sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with expertise in neck, knee, and hip injuries. Having worked in specialist sports injury clinics, Laura understands the physical and psychological demands of injury recovery and tailors treatment plans to each individual’s goals.
Laura adopts a hands-on, holistic approach to physiotherapy. She combines manual therapy, targeted rehabilitation, and patient education to help individuals return to their daily routines, sport, and optimal performance as efficiently and safely as possible.
Outside of the clinic, Laura leads an active lifestyle and enjoys cycling, squash, volleyball, and football. She is fluent in Italian, English and also has a good understanding of Spanish.
