Toosie is a Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in musculoskeletal, women’s health, ante-natal and post-natal physiotherapy.

After graduating from The University of Cape Town, South Africa with an honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2002, she then worked in private practice for 3 years, specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, also working the sidelines for various sports teams within the city. She relocated to the UK and has since worked within the NHS and in private practice.

Toosie completed her post-graduate women’s health training with the POGP in 2010, and continues to add new skills and treatment options to her repertoire with regular courses. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of uro-gynaecological complaints from urinary incontinence to pelvic pain as well as sports related pelvic dysfunction.

Toosie is also a certified APPI pilates instructor and uses these skills along with her physiotherapy knowledge to develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation programs to treat a wide range of complaints including pelvic floor pain and dysfunction, post partum conditions – including diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal muscles) -and pelvic girdle pain.
