Stephen Perchard

Stephen is originally from Guernsey and graduated from the University of Wales, College of Medicine in 2004. Prior to this he also completed a degree in Sports Science gaining valuable knowledge and clinical experience in managing sports related injuries. He is adept at treating both recreational through to elite athletes and was previously the Head physiotherapist for the Wales Men’s hockey team.

Since qualifying he has worked in both the private and public sectors in the UK and Australia gaining extensive experience in managing a vast range of injuries and pathologies affecting the whole musculoskeletal system.

He recently completed a Masters degree in Manipulative Therapy from the world renowned Curtin University in Australia at which he gained a Distinction. This career enhancement has enabled him to learn cutting edge techniques and approaches in treating some of the most complex and challenging conditions endured by the human body.

Stephen also has a specialist interest in the management of foot & ankle pathologies and is currently in the process of publishing recent research he has carried out on human cadavers. His dissection work has furthered his anatomical and biomechanical knowledge of the multifactoral problems that typically present in this area which has proved highly effective in optimizing successful functional outcomes.

Stephen is also qualified acupuncturist and is registered with the A.A.C.P.

In his spare time he is an accomplished sportsman himself and has played national league hockey both in the UK and abroad. He also enjoys golf, tennis and skiing and is an aviation enthusiast.
