Chris is a highly qualified and driven Sports Rehabilitator, with a passion for enhancing sports performance and facilitating recovery from injury. Having played rugby semi-professionally and rowed at National level, he understands the toll high impact activity can have on the human body.
After successfully completing a level 2 diploma in sports massage therapy, Chris decided to embark on a career as a sports rehabilitation and graduated with a BSc degree from St Mary’s University. He is a registered member of the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators (BASRaT) and, also holds a Level 2 PHICIS from England Rugby. He has worked “pitchside” with various rugby clubs over the years, offering support to qualified therapists by following their professional lead. He is currently part of the medical team at Rosslyn Park Rugby Club working with both the men’s and women’s teams.
Chris’s strength and passions lie in the field of strength and conditioning and end-stage rehabilitation, with return to sport becoming the central focus of his practice. In more recent times, he has since continued to expand his experience and skills, working as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) with the military.
Under the guidance of the Physiotherapy team Chris’s role is to help you to perform your exercise programme to the best of your ability, utilising the principles of sport and exercise science.
