Kate Sheehy

Kate graduated fom Addenbrookes, Cambridge in 1980 and has a postgrad diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Curtin University, Australia (1986). Hospital experience includes St Stephens (now Chelsea & Westminster) and Queen Marys, Roehampton. She has a special interest in spinal problems and has taught examination and treatment techniques to physiotherapists for several years.

Kate’s book, “Fitness Therapy” was published in 1998 and has proved popular with people of a wide variety of levels of fitness who are looking for exercises to help them recover from injury or simply progress their strength and mobility.

Kate belongs to the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She provides expert opinion on clinical negligence and professional practice issues to solicitors, barristers, and the Health Service Ombudsman
