Kate Sheehy

Kate has been at Richmond Physiotherapy from Day 1 (way back in 1995) and can’t quite believe all those years have gone by!

In that time the practice has grown steadily, at a rate that has allowed quality to remain the watchword.

Kate graduated fom Addenbrookes, Cambridge in 1980 and has a postgrad diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Curtin University, Australia (1986).

Kate’s book, “Fitness Therapy” was published in 1998 and has proved popular with people of a wide variety of levels of fitness who are looking for exercises to help them recover from injury or simply progress their strength and mobility.

Kate belongs to the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She provides expert opinion on clinical negligence and professional practice issues to solicitors, barristers, and the Health Service Ombudsman

Hospital experience includes St Stephens (now Chelsea & Westminster) and Queen Marys, Roehampton. She has a special interest in spinal problems and has taught examination and treatment techniques to physiotherapists for several years.
