Jon Urwin

Chartered Physiotherapist

Jon qualified in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University in 2003. He went on to qualify as a Chartered Physiotherapist graduating from Kings College, London in 2005.

Jon completed his junior rotations in the Health Service while working part-time for Charlton Athletic Football Club. In 2007 he commenced full-time employment at Queens Park Rangers Football Club and in 2009 he moved to West Ham United Football Club where he spent 6 years in various physiotherapy roles and embarked on his MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine.

On completion of this Masters at Queen Mary University of London, Jon won an award for his research into hamstring injuries in Premier League Football.

As of this footballing season, Jon holds the position of Head Physiotherapist at Reading Football Club.
