In 2015/16 Esther studied at the North London School of Massage and qualified in Diploma Level 5, Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. Her treatment approach is enhanced by the use of soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and muscle energy techniques.
Having worked in an office based environment for many years Esther has experienced how desk based work can undermine your posture and fitness. She uses this knowledge to focus her treatments by finding ways to incorporate soft tissue stretches into your everyday life. In this way you can improve range of movement and alleviate postural strains.
A keen road cyclist, Esther understands the desire to keep fit and active and the frustration that can accompany injury. Her personal experience of both acute and chronic cycling injuries has allowed her to experience first hand the benefit of regular sports massage and the positive influence it has on recovery times.
Her passion and enthusiasm for keeping fit means Esther is keen to get to the root cause of any niggle you may have and help you return to the activity you love. Her aim is to promote well being and prevent injury.
Esther’s pride and joy is her lovely carbon road bike and she can often be found in Richmond Park or heading further afield to the Surrey Hills or the South coast. As well as cycling and regular Pilates practice Esther likes to get active in the gym where she has just discovered free weights and kettle bells. Please get in touch and Esther will be happy to answer any queries you may have about whether massage therapy can help you.
